PORTRAITS These are just a few samples of my work, commissioned by those who choose to have or give, a long lasting memoir of someone special. It is my privilege to undertake this work which I offer in the sensitive medium of Pastel or Oils.
Although I do prefer to meet personally with the subject & work from my own reference, I understand that this is not always possible & I am happy to work from your reference, providing this is of acceptable quality.
COMMISSIONED WORKS I am happy to consider all commission work, whether traditional, impressionist, contemporary, landscape, portrait etc.- whether from your favourite place, reference, or inspired by one of my existing works. I do not repeat my original work, but retain my artistic licence where one may desire a commission similar to an existing work.. I am happy to work from your favourite photo providing this is of acceptable quality, but prefer to work from my own reference & sketches whenever possible.
All works are completed to the highest standard using only Artists’ quality materials. The cost of commissions generally depends on the size & is for the painting only. Frames / Mounts, Postage / Packaging, & any long distance travel costs involved are not included.
PRINTS
Some images are available as signed Limited Edition Giclee prints. This process produces the highest quality, International standard reproductions, which are generally hard to differentaiete from the original. The process ensures a museum quality, fine art print that will retain its lustre for a lifetime. These are reproduced onto the highest quality Canvas or Water Colour paper, available in various sizes, - & are priced according to size & hand finishing. At this time, there are only 6 prints of each edition.
